IWID believes training of facilitators as a powerful tool for change. Hence it builds up a team of facilitators to share the training responsibility based on the needsof NGOs and people's movements.

The influencing role of high- tech audio-visual media in society is the motivation factor behind IWID’s Alternative Media Activism. IWID produces audio, video and multimedia to strengthen camapign and to create impact among the target groups.

Gender concerns in Disaster Mitigation
Tsunami Disaster relief and rehabilitation process rooted in the dominant social norms has reflected the invisibility and inadequacy in addressing women’s practical needs and strategies interest. IWID, realizing the importance reaffirmed its commitment towards Integrating gender equity and justice by organizing workshops, documentation campaigns and direct intervention in four villages with gender perspective.

IWID resource center strengthens organizations to sustain and broad base their development initiatives. It bridges the information gap for the grass roots organization. IWID collects information from the grass roots level about their strategic intervention and widens its usage.
Campaigning and Networking
IWID’s deep involvement with the campaigns on issues of critical concern addresses the issues and also widens the space for networking and linkages with the National & International Forums. Campaigns creates visibility on the issues and strengthens the process of lobbying and advocacy
